पापा ( कहानी)....DAD

                   

                      पापा

आज राजीव बहुत खुश था, वह अपने ऑफिस का काम भी जल्दी-जल्दी करने में लग गया क्योंकि आज  वह जल्दी घर जाना चाहता था। इतने में उसके बाॅस ने उसे बुलाया और कहा कि आज तुम्हें आज ऑफिस में थोड़ा रुक कर ओवर टाइम करना पड़ेगा। राजीव ने कुछ सोचते हुए हाँ कर दी, क्योंकि वो अपने काम के प्रति बहुत ईमानदार था, इसलिए वो बाॅस को मना नहीं कर पाया। वो थोड़ा उदास हो गया। उसके मित्र ने पूछा क्या हुआ यार, सुबह तो तू बहुत खुश था। अब क्या हुआ  तुझे, परेशान क्यों है?
कुछ ऐसा नहीं है मेरा बेटा आज इतने दिनों बाद अपनी ट्रेनिंग पूरी करके आ रहा है और आज उसका जन्मदिन भी है। मैंने सोचा था कि आज थोड़ा जल्दी चला जाऊंगा, तो उसके आने से पहले ही सारी तैयारी करके उसे सरप्राइज कर दूंगा।
"लगता है तू अपने बेटे से बहुत प्यार करता है।"
दोस्त ने कहा।
हाँ, "यार मैं अपने बेटे से बहुत प्यार करता हूँ। सभी करते हैं, मैं क्या सबसे अलग हूँ क्या?"
मेरी पत्नी जब से इस दुनिया से गई है, तब से मेरा बेटा ही मेरा सब कुछ है।
सही कहा, "यार तुमने ठीक कहा, सबको ही अपने बच्चों से प्यार होता है।
पर तुम्हें कुछ ज्यादा है, अरे कुछ दिन तो वो तुम्हारे पास रहेगा, यही सोच कर खुश हो जाओ।"
आज तुम्हें मैं अपने बेटे से जुड़ी एक घटना बताता हूँ, फिर तुम समझ जाओगे, कि वो मेरे लिए क्यों इतना खास है, बात उस समय की है जब मेरा बेटा  पन्द्रह वर्ष का था और ग्यारहवी कक्षा मैं प्रवेश पा गया ..क्लास मैं हमेशा से अव्वल आता था। एक बार जब मुझे तनख्वाह मिली तो मैं उसे नयी स्कूल ड्रेस और जूते दिलवाने के लिए बाज़ार ले गया !
बेटे ने जूते लेने से ये कह कर मना कर दिया की पुराने जूतों को बस थोड़ी-सी मरम्मत की जरुरत है.. वो अभी इस साल काम दे सकते हैं। अपने जूतों की बजाय उसने मुझे अपने दादा की कमजोर हो चुकी नज़र के लिए नया चश्मा बनवाने को कहा।
मैंने सोचा बेटा अपने दादा से शायद बहुत प्यार करता है इसलिए अपने जूतों की बजाय उनके चश्मे को ज्यादा जरूरी समझ रहा है।
खैर मैंने कुछ कहना जरुरी नहीं समझा और उसे लेकर ड्रेस की दुकान पर पहुंचा... दुकानदार ने बेटे के साइज़ की सफ़ेद शर्ट निकाली ... डाल कर देखने पर शर्ट एक दम फिट थी.....
फिर भी बेटे ने थोड़ी लम्बी शर्ट दिखाने को कहा।
मैंने बेटे से कहा, बेटा ये शर्ट तुम्हें बिल्कुल सही है तो फिर और लम्बी क्यों ?
बेटे ने कहा, पिता जी मुझे शर्ट निक्कर के अंदर ही डालनी होती है इसलिए थोड़ी लम्बी भी होगी तो कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ेगा....
लेकिन यही शर्ट मुझे अगली क्लास में भी काम आ जाएगी ... पिछली वाली शर्ट भी अभी नयी जैसी ही पड़ी है लेकिन छोटी होने की वजह से मैं उसे पहन नहीं पा रहा।
मैं खामोश रहा।
घर आते वक़्त मैंने बेटे से पूछा, तुम्हें ये सब बातें कौन सिखाता है बेटा ?
बेटे ने कहा, पिता जी मैं अक्सर देखता था कि कभी माँ अपनी साड़ी छोड़कर तो कभी आप अपने जूतों को छोड़कर हमेशा मेरी किताबों और कपड़ो पैर पैसे खर्च कर दिया करते हैं।
गली- मोहल्ले में सब लोग कहते हैं के आप बहुत ईमानदार आदमी हैं, और हमारे साथ वाले राजू के पापा को सब लोग चोर, कुत्ता, बे-ईमान, रिश्वतखोर और जाने क्या क्या कहते हैं।
जबकि आप दोनों एक ही ऑफिस में काम करते हैं.....
जब सब लोग आपकी तारीफ करते हैं तो मुझे बड़ा अच्छा लगता है, मुझे गर्व होता है कि मैं आपका बेटा हूँ। बड़े होकर मैं भी आप की तरह ही बनना चाहता हूँ। 
मम्मी और दादा जी भी आपकी तारीफ करते हैं !
पिता जी मैं चाहता हूँ कि मुझे कभी जीवन में नए कपड़े, नए जूते मिले या न मिले..
लेकिन कोई आपको चोर, बे-ईमान, रिश्वतखोर या बुरा-भला न कहे।
मैं आपकी ताक़त बनना चाहता हूँ पिता जी, आपकी कमजोरी नहीं।
बेटे की बात सुनकर मैं निरुतर था। आज मुझे पहली बार मुझे मेरी ईमानदारी का इनाम मिला था। आज बहुत दिनों बाद आँखों में ख़ुशी, गर्व और सम्मान के आंसू थे।
अब तुम्ही ही बताओ, जो बेटा मुझे इतना समझता है, तो वो मेरे दिल के करीब ही होगा न।
राजीव ऑफिस में देर तक काम करता रहा, पर उसकी नजरें घड़ी पर ही लगी थी। बार-बार उसके सामने उसके अपने बेटे का ही चेहरा घूम रहा था।
तभी पीयून ने बोला, सर आपसे कोई मिलने आया है। राजीव सोच में पड़ जाता है कि कौन होगा इस समय? वो भी ऑफिस में मिलने।
तभी राजीव के सामने उसका बेटा खड़ा था, राजीव ने बढ़कर उसे गले से लगा लिया। बेटे ने कहा पिता से कहा--- " पिताजी, मुझे पता है कि आप मुझे बहुत याद कर रहे थे, जब घर पर मैंने ताला देखा तो मैंने आपके ऑफिस फोन किया तो पता चला कि आपको ऑफिस में ओवर टाइम करने का ऑर्डर मिला है।
मैं समझ गया कि आज मेरे जन्मदिन पर आपको ऑफिस में ओवर टाइम करना ठीक नहीं लग रहा होगा, और आप उदास होंगे, इसलिए मैं आ गया आपके पास अब हम दोनों मिलकर सेलीब्रेट  करेंगे। पिता की आंखें नम थी।
बेटे उन्हें केक खिलाते हुए कहा-- पापा मैं आपकी ताकत बनना चाहता हूँ आपकी कमजोरी नहीं। लव यू पापा।

English Translation 

                             Dad

Today Rajiv was very happy, he also started doing his office work very quickly because today he wanted to go home early.  In this case, his boss called him and said that today you will have to stay a little longer in office.  Rajiv said yes to some thinking, because he was very honest about his work, so he could not refuse the boss.  He got a little sad.  His friend asked what happened, man, you were very happy in the morning.  What happened to you now, why are you worried?

 It is not like that my son is coming after completing his training after so many days and today is his birthday too.  I thought that I will go a little early today, so before I come, I will prepare and surprise him.

 "Looks like you love your son very much."

 The friend said.

 Yes, "Dude, I love my son very much. All do, what am I different about?"

 Ever since my wife left this world, my son is my everything.

 Rightly said, "Man, you are right, everybody loves their children."

 But you have more, hey, he will be with you for a few days, be happy thinking that. "

 Today I tell you an incident related to my son, then you will understand why he is so special to me, the thing is when my son was fifteen years old and I got admission in class eleventh ..  Used to top it  Once I got a salary, I took him to the market to get him a new school dress and shoes!

 The son refused to take the shoes, saying that the old shoes needed just a little repairing .. They can work now this year.  Instead of his shoes, he asked me to get new glasses for my grandfather's weak eyesight.

 I thought my son loves his grandfather very much, so he is considering his glasses more important than his shoes.

 Well, I did not think it necessary to say anything and reached the dress shop with it ... The shopkeeper took out the white shirt of the size of the son ... After putting it on, the shirt was fit at once .....

 Still the son asked to show a slightly longer shirt.

 I told the son, son, this shirt is right for you, so why else?

 The son said, Father, I have to put the shirt inside the shorts, so even if it is a little longer, it will not matter.

 But this shirt will be useful for me in the next class too ... The previous shirt is still lying like new but due to being small, I am not able to wear it.

 I kept quiet.

 While coming home, I asked the son, who teaches you all these things, son?

 The son said, Father, I often used to see that sometimes mother leaves her sari or sometimes you leave your shoes and always spend money on my books and clothes.

 Everyone in the street says that you are a very honest man, and Raju's father who is with us, everybody says thief, dog, dishonest, bribery and know what.

 While both of you work in the same office .....

 I love it when everyone praises you, I feel proud that I am your son.  I also want to be like you when I grow up.

 Mom and Grandpa also appreciate you!

 Father, I want to see if I ever get new clothes, new shoes or not in life ..

 But no one should call you a thief, dishonest, bribery or bad.

 I want to be your strength, father, not your weakness.

 After listening to my son I was always  Today, for the first time, I received the reward of my honesty.  Today, after a long time, there were tears of joy, pride and respect in his eyes.
